| Abstract: | Tracheobronchial injuries from trauma can be life threatening. We present a case report of a 23-year-old man who suffered a left main bronchus transection after a motorbike accident. The diagnostic and management issues surrounding tracheobronchial injuries are reviewed. Early diagnosis and treatment lead to the best outcome, with almost complete return of pulmonary function. |
