EFFICACY OF ACUPUNCTURING THE JIANJING POINT IN 393 CASES OF ACUTE MASTITIS

Acute mastitis is a common disorder amongbreast-feeding mothers.Traditional Chinesemedicine lists this disease as breast abscess.Since 1975,the acupuncture department of ourhospital has been treating acute mastitis byneedling the single acupoint jianjing(GB 21).So far,we have treated 393 such cases with verysatisfactory results.     

针刺治愈新生儿失声31天一例

病例:男孩,出生31天。生后窒息发烧,无哭声及不断抽搐。经治疗,热退,但仍无哭声阳不断抽搐。住院13天不见好转出院。待产妇满月来针灸治疗体检:体温3T℃,体质消瘦,皮肚干燥,双眼不时上翻,头后仰,双手握拳状,四肢不抽搐。心率140/次分,律整,双肺清晰,腹无异常。选穴:内关、百会、足三里、三阴交和头针语言区。
