目的 了解河南省临床重点专科科研教学产出情况,分析现状及存在问题,为专科能力提升提供科学依据与建议。方法 通过问卷调查收集2015—2019年河南省临床重点专科科研数据,应用EpiData 3.0进行数据录入,采用SPSS 21.0软件进行卡方检验和Mann Whitney U检验,对河南省国家级和省级临床重点专科学科带头人、医疗人才队伍、学术、科研及教学产出情况进行对比分析。结果 河南省国家级与省级临床重点专科学科带头人之间学术素养和科研能力持平、科研教学能力之间仍有较大差距。结论 省级临床重点专科需全面提升科研教学能力,应进一步壮大医疗人才队伍,重点关注高水平学术平台的交流和研究型人才的培养。  相似文献

ObjectivesIndividuals with serious mental illness (SMI; schizophrenia spectrum disorders and affective psychoses) are increasingly aging into older adulthood and are overrepresented in residential long-term care settings. The present study aimed to examine the preparedness of staff in these settings to care for individuals with SMI.DesignA multidisciplinary US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) workgroup of professionals with expertise in geriatric mental health collected voluntary feedback via online questionnaire as part of a quality improvement project.Setting and ParticipantsRespondents were mental health providers (N=51) embedded in VA nursing homes called Community Living Centers (CLCs).MeasuresThe questionnaire contained multiple-choice, Likert-type scale, and open-ended questions regarding the opportunities and challenges associated with caring for Veterans with SMI in CLCs.ResultsRespondents identified a lack of training of front-line staff as a key challenge in providing high-quality care to residents with SMI. Specifically, respondents indicated a need to increase staff knowledge about SMI symptoms and diagnoses, to improve staff communication and interactions with residents with SMI, and to decrease mental illness stigma among staff.Conclusions/ImplicationsThe present study revealed significant areas of training need for front-line staff in nursing homes. Many perceived staff training needs overlap with the knowledge and skill set required to provide high-quality dementia care. Integrating training regarding the care of residents with SMI into dementia care training efforts may be a fruitful future direction. Strategies for this and a suggested curriculum are provided.  相似文献

In Vietnam, needs to update medical and public health research capacity, but advanced training in research methodology in universities is still very limited. The first university-certified research training course aimed at physicians was conducted in Ho Chi Minh City in 2000. This paper describes the processes, outcomes and lessons learned from the project, to enable the training course to be repeated to increase research capacity among health professionals in Vietnam and other developing countries. Based on needs assessment, the 9-month, part-time course offered advanced training in practical research skills, including epidemiology, biostatistics and qualitative research methods. Thirty-seven trainees (teaching staff, interns and clinicians) completed the course, which included four group research projects. With active support from university management, the course was rigorous and participation was excellent. Trainees's knowledge of research methodologies increased, and their self-evaluation of achievement of the training objectives was high. The total score of the epidemiology and biostatistics test improved from 56% (median) in the pre-course test to 83% in the post-course test. The group research project results were disseminated through a conference and publication in peer-reviewed journals. The course has since been repeated twice as a 1-month intensive course to accommodate trainees from distant regions. This type of rigorous in-service research training at universities and teaching hospitals in developing countries appears to be an effective, sustainable approach. It also holds promise for producing research data that are responsive to a country's own needs and which are likely to be applied in health policy and practice. Further evaluation of the impact and cost of such models is indicated.  相似文献
