The ban of lead in many electronic products and the expectation that, sooner or later, this ban will include the currently exempt piezoelectric ceramics based on Lead-Zirconate-Titanate has motivated many research groups to look for lead-free substitutes. After a short overview on different classes of lead-free piezoelectric ceramics with large strain, this review will focus on Bismuth-Sodium-Titanate and its solid solutions. These compounds exhibit extraordinarily high strain, due to a field induced phase transition, which makes them attractive for actuator applications. The structural features of these materials and the origin of the field-induced strain will be revised. Technologies for texturing, which increases the useable strain, will be introduced. Finally, the features that are relevant for the application of these materials in a multilayer design will be summarized.  相似文献

Doppler ultrasound is known as a reliable technique, which demonstrates the flow characteristics and resistance of ophthalmic arteries. In this study, ophthalmic arterial Doppler signals were obtained from 106 subjects, 54 of whom suffered from ocular Behcet disease while the rest were healthy subjects. Multilayer perceptron neural network (MLPNN) employing delta-bar-delta training algorithm was used to detect the presence of ocular Behcet disease. Spectral analysis of the ophthalmic arterial Doppler signals was performed by least squares (LS) autoregressive (AR) method for determining the MLPNN inputs. The MLPNN was trained with training set, cross validated with cross validation set and tested with testing set. All these data sets were obtained from ophthalmic arteries of healthy subjects and subjects suffering from ocular Behcet disease. Performance indicators and statistical measures were used for evaluating the MLPNN. The correct classification rate was 96.43% for healthy subjects and 93.75% for unhealthy subjects suffering from ocular Behcet disease. The classification results showed that the MLPNN employing delta-bar-delta training algorithm was effective to detect the ophthalmic arterial Doppler signals with Behcet disease.  相似文献

Abstract

There is an increasing need for fast and accurate transfer of readings from blood glucose metres and blood pressure monitors to a smartphone mHealth application, without a dependency on Bluetooth technology. Most of the medical devices recommended for home monitoring use a seven-segment display to show the recorded measurement to the patient. We aimed to achieve accurate detection and reading of the seven-segment digits displayed on these medical devices using an image taken in a realistic scenario by a smartphone camera. A synthetic dataset of seven-segment digits was developed in order to train and test a digit classifier. A dataset containing realistic images of blood glucose metres and blood pressure monitors using a variety of smartphone cameras was also created. The digit classifier was evaluated on a dataset of seven-segment digits manually extracted from the medical device images. These datasets along with the code for its development have been made public. The developed algorithm first preprocessed the input image using retinex with two bilateral filters and adaptive histogram equalisation. Subsequently, the digit segments were automatically located within the image by two techniques operating in parallel: Maximally Stable Extremal Regions (MSER) and connected components of a binarised image. A filtering and clustering algorithm was then designed to combine digit segments to form seven-segment digits. The resulting digits were classified using a Histogram of Orientated Gradients (HOG) feature set and a neural network trained on the synthetic digits. The model achieved 93% accuracy on digits found on the medical devices. The digit location algorithm achieved a F1 score of 0.87 and 0.80 on images of blood glucose metres and blood pressure monitors respectively. Very few assumptions were made of the locations of the digits on the devices so that the proposed algorithm can be easily implemented on new devices.  相似文献

The step‐by‐step deposition of poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH) and sodium hexameta­phosphate (PSP) leads to coatings displaying interesting intumescent properties and is a fascinating model system to understand the fundamental mechanism behind such a deposition process. In this investigation, the deposition kinetics of (PAH‐PSP)n is followed in situ by means of a quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring, as a function of NaCl concentration. The evolution of the film deposition is analyzed in detail and the data are compared with previous data obtained by ellipsometry on dried films. These results are also compared with the expectations from the PAH/PSP phase diagram. The (PAH‐PSP)n films are also able to incorporate hexacyanoferrate anions with an amount of an incorporated redox probe reflecting the film thickness as obtained in the presence of eletrolyte solutions of increasing ionic strength. The in situ measurements and the electrochemical probe experiments reveal details of the film deposition mechanism that are not accessible by dry‐state characterization methods.

目的:研究儿童眼外伤性角膜损伤或穿孔行多层羊膜覆盖治疗的效果。

方法:随机选取2012-05/2015-05我院收治的儿童眼外伤性角膜损伤或穿孔患儿60例72眼,依据治疗方法将这些患儿分为两组,研究组30例36眼和对照组30例36眼。给予对照组患儿单层羊膜覆盖治疗,给予研究组患儿多层羊膜覆盖治疗。

结果:研究组患儿的羊膜持续时间显著长于对照组(P<0.05),角膜水肿消退时间均显著短于对照组(P<0.05),新生血管生成<3个象限比例28%(10/36)显著高于对照组17%(6/36)(P<0.05),无生成比例11%(4/36)显著低于对照组28%(10/36)(P<0.05),视力为0.3~1.0占11%(4/36)显著高于对照组3%(1/36)(P<0.05),手动/眼前~0.1占56%(20/36)显著低于对照组72%(26/36)(P<0.05)。

结论:儿童眼外伤性角膜损伤或穿孔行多层羊膜覆盖治疗的效果良好。  相似文献

Introduction: The oral mucosa has recently become increasingly important as an alternative administration route for tailor-made, controlled drug delivery. Oromucosal multilayer films, assigned to the monograph oromucosal preparations in the Ph.Eur. may be a promising dosage form to overcome the requirements related to this drug delivery site.

Areas covered: We provide an overview of multilayer films as drug delivery tools, and discuss manufacturing processes and characterization methods. We focus on the suitability of characterization methods for particular requirements of multilayer films. A classification was performed covering indication areas and APIs incorporated in multilayer film systems for oromucosal use in order to provide a summary of data published in this field.

Expert opinion: The shift in drug development to high molecular weight drugs will influence the field of pharmaceutical development and delivery technologies. For a high number of indication areas, such as hormonal disorders, cardiovascular diseases or local treatment of infections, the flexible layer design of oromucosal multilayer films provides a promising option for tailor-made, controlled delivery of APIs to or through defined surfaces in the oral cavity. However, there is a lack of discriminating or standardized testing methods to assess the quality of multilayer films in a reliable way.  相似文献

In addition to the effect that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the physical and mental health of individuals, it has also led to a change in the mental and emotional state of many employees. Especially among businesses and private companies, which faced many restrictions due to the special conditions of the pandemic. Therefore, the present study aimed to design an artificial neural network with MLP technique to analyze the relationship between demographic variables, resilience, COVID-19 and burnout in start-ups in Iran. The research method was quantitative. Managers and employees of start-ups formed the statistical population of the study, based on the statistical sample size of the unlimited community, 384 of them were tested. For data gathering, standard questionnaires include of MBI-GS and BRCS and researcher-made questionnaire of stress caused by COVID-19 were used. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by a panel of experts and their reliability was confirmed by Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The number of neurons in the input layer was equal to 10, the number of neurons in the 1st hidden layer was equal to 7, the number of neurons in the output layer was equal to 1, and the number of epochs was equal to 500. 70% of the data were used for training and 30% for testing. In the designed artificial neural network, all experiment data except one were correctly predicted and the obtained MAE error was less than 0.012%. Finally, he precision and correction of the presented model was confirmed by the obtained results.  相似文献

BackgroundThe objectives of this study are to (1) evaluate if there is a potential difference in cemented implant fixation strength between tibial components made out of cobalt-chromium (CrCoMo) and of a ceramic zirconium nitride (ZrN) multilayer coating and to (2) test their behavior with 5 different bone cements in a standardized in vitro model for testing of the implant-cement-bone interface conditions. We also analyzed (3) whether initial fixation strength is a function of timing of the cement apposition and component implantation by an early, mid-term, and late usage within the cement-specific processing window.MethodsAn in vitro study using a synthetic polyurethane foam model was performed to investigate the implant fixation strength after cementation of tibial components by a push-out test. A total of 20 groups (n = 5 each) was used: Vega PS CrCoMo tibia and Vega PS ZrN tibia with the bone cements BonOs R, SmartSet HV, Cobalt HV, Palacos R, and Surgical Simplex P, respectively, using mid-term cement apposition. Three different cement apposition times—early, mid-term, and late usage—were tested with a total of 12 groups (n = 5 each) with the bone cements BonOs R and SmartSet HV.ResultsThere was no significant difference in implant-cement-bone fixation strength between CrCoMo and ZrN multilayer-coated Vega tibial trays tested with 5 different commonly used bone cements.ConclusionApposition of bone cements and tibial tray implantation in the early to mid of the cement-specific processing window is beneficial in regard to interface fixation in TKA.  相似文献

Multilayer woven fabrics used for conveyor belts must be characterized by high mechanical strength. The design process of multilayer woven fabrics for such application requires taking into account the structural characteristics of the fabric, which allows to adjust the final product properties to the dedicated use. The geometry of warp threads—means stuffer and binding is the decisive aspect, which influences the strength properties of multilayer woven fabrics and materials made with their use as well. The aim of this work was to examine the possibility of shaping mechanical strength and bending rigidity of multilayer woven fabrics by changing the order of introducing weft threads into individual layers. The eight variants of multilayer woven fabrics were manufactured using laboratory harness loom. They were produced using different structural models in two weft variants, then tested. The mechanical features were determined, such as breaking force, recovered and unrecovered elongations in cyclic tensile test, stiffness rigidity. The analysis of the obtained results confirmed, that both the model and the order in which the weft threads were introduced into individual layers influence the mechanical strength and bending rigidity of multilayer woven. It was found, that the strength properties characterized by the above mentioned indicators are influenced by the number of threads weaved as both the stuffer and binding warp.  相似文献
