本文应用 Mop-Videoplan 图象分析仪对氟中毒家猪胫骨进行了骨计量学的初步研究。四环素双标记后将家猪胫骨制备成骨磨片,在荧光及普通光学显微镜下测量了一系列骨计量学参数。结果表明,氟中毒导致家猪胫骨髓腔面皮质新骨体积明显增加,但其增加程度不与血氟呈正相关。新骨体积增加可能是造成临床 X 线氟骨症表现骨髓腔狭窄的原因。骨动力学研完表明,氟中毒造成四环素双标记明显减少,这可能与氟抑制骨组织的转换过程有关。  相似文献

Aim: To evaluate the hypothesis of a correlation between the preoperative residual alveolar bone height (RBH) and graft maturation after maxillary sinus floor augmentation procedures using two different bone substitutes. Methods: A total of 20 patients who underwent unilateral maxillary sinus floor augmentation with either mineralized deproteinized bovine bone (DBBM) or a xenograft enriched with polymer and gelatin (NBS) were included in this prospective study. Six months after sinus surgery, bone biopsies were harvested with a 3.2 mm diameter trephine bur, prior to dental implant placement. Histomorphometric analysis was performed, and the results were correlated with the individual RBH. Implants were loaded after 5 months of insertion, and 1-year implant success and marginal bone level change were assessed. Results: RBH was 2.17 ± 1.11 mm (range 0.5–3.5 mm) and 2.14 ± 0.72 mm (range 0.5–3.0 mm) in the NBS and DBBM group, respectively. The biopsy analyses for the DBBM group showed woven bone increases by 5.08% per 1-mm increment of RBH; medullary spaces decreased by 9.02%, osteoid decreased by 4.4%, residual biomaterial decreased by 0.34%, and lamellar bone increased by 5.68% per 1-mm increase of RBH. In the NBS group, samples showed woven bone increases by 8.08% per 1-mm increase of RBH; medullary spaces decreased by 0.38%; osteoid increased by 1.34%, residual biomaterial decreased by 0.58%, and lamellar bone decreased by 5.50% per 1-mm increase of RBH. There was no statistically significant difference in the correlation between RBH and lamellar bone, woven bone, and osteoid, independently of the material used. Implant success was 100% in both groups, and marginal bone loss was 1.02 ± 0.42 mm in DBBM and 0.95 ± 0.31 mm in the NBS group after the 1-year follow-up. Conclusion: In spite of the absence of significance, the observed trend for woven bone to increase and medullary spaces to decrease when RBH increases deserves attention. Residual bone dimension might be a determinant in the bone graft maturation after maxillary sinus augmentation.  相似文献

Objective: The objectives of this study were (1) to investigate the bone–tissue response to zirconia and titanium implants at the implant‐to‐bone interface and at the periosteal level and (2) to quantitatively measure the mineral density of the peri‐implant bone using peripheral quantitative computer tomography (pQCT). Material and methods: Ten 3.5 mm × 6.6 mm screw‐shaped threaded implants fabricated from titanium and zirconia were inserted into the mid‐tibial diaphysis of five male New Zealand white rabbits. Calcein green was administered at 4 weeks post‐implantation. The animals were sacrificed after 6 weeks and implants were retrieved and analyzed in terms of bone‐to‐implant contact (BIC), bone area (BA), mineralized surface (MS) percentage, inter‐thread calcein labels, removal torque (RT) values, as well as pQCT measurements. Findings: No statistically significant differences were detected between the zirconia and titanium implants in terms of BIC, RT, and pQCT. However, statistically significant higher BA and MS levels were found in the titanium group, while the higher amount of calcein labels occupying the threads were found in the zirconium group. Significant differences were also found in the quantity and the composition of bone at the bone–implant interfacial area vs. the region 1.5 mm away from the bone–implant interface, irrespective of the implant type. Conclusion: Zirconia implants demonstrated a lower bone remodeling activity in the periosteal region. The bone at the bone–implant interface shows a significantly lower cortical bone density, a higher trabecular density, and trabecular mineral content. Finally, zirconia and titanium implants showed similar bone–implant responses in terms of BIC and RT. To cite this article:

Purpose: We compared autogenous bone grafts from the proximal tibia and the anterior iliac crest under standardized conditions with regard to the attainable bone amount and the histological bone density. Material and methods: In 15 freshly preserved adult cadavers, a corticocancellous block graft from the anterior iliac crest and a purely cancellous transplant from the tibia of the homolateral side were harvested respectively, with the length of the skin incision set at 6 cm for the iliac and at 3.5 cm for the tibial approach. The size of the iliac graft was defined to be between 1/3 and 1/4 of the total iliac length. At the medial tibia the maximum possible amount of cancellous bone was collected after preparation of a cortical lid. For volume determination grafts were cautiously cut up and then put in a water‐filled measuring cylinder. In addition, bone density was measured by histomorphometry. The received data were statistically evaluated using the t‐test for related samples at P=0.05 and Pearson's correlation analysis. Results: From both donor sites approximately equal amounts of bone were available. This result is neither dependent on age nor on gender. In contrast, bone density turned out significantly higher in the iliac graft, with the difference showing a significant age dependence (r=?0.556). Conclusions: Provided that no cortical transplants are needed, cancellous tibial bone grafts offer an appropriate alternative to the classic iliac bone graft, especially in elderly patients.  相似文献

This clinical study evaluated a new surface treatment of ion implantation with CO ions which has previously been subjected to extensive study in animal models. The aim of this work was to assess its effect in humans. Experimental mini-implants were used; half of their longitudinal surface was machined and the other half was treated with CO ion implantation. The study was conducted in healthy volunteer patients who required prosthetic treatment with dental implants, and in accordance with the corresponding ethics committees. Coinciding with the insertion of commercial implants for oral restoration, one or two mini-implants were placed in the upper maxillary tuberosity or in the retromolar trigone of the mandible. The mini-implants were removed with a trephine jointly with a small volume of surrounding bone after a 3-month period. Two evaluation methods were used and both showed a greater degree of bone integration in the mini-implant section that underwent CO ion implantation treatment in comparison with the non-treated surface: 62.9% vs. 57.9%, and 54.8% vs. 46.2%. In addition, no adverse reactions were observed in the surface treatment with CO ion implantation. These results confirm the positive benefits in humans, based on the findings obtained from previous animal experiments.  相似文献

目的:探讨脊髓损伤对大鼠后肢骨质量的影响,揭示SCI继发骨质疏松特点。方法:60只SD大鼠按体重随机分为6组.对20只采用脊髓横断法在第10胸椎处横断脊髓制作完全性SCI模型,分为SCI6周和12周组;20只在同水平处切断棘突、椎板制作似手术对照组(sham),分为Sham6周和12周组;另20只分为正常6周和12周对照组。分别在脊髓损伤后6周和12周时取材,进行股骨生物力学性能和胫骨上端骨形态计量学测试。结果:脊髓损伤6周时,大鼠胫骨E端骨小梁厚度、骨小梁面积百分比明显降低(P〈0.01、P〈0.05),单位面积破骨细胞数明显增加(P〈0.05):股骨中段最大载荷明显降低(P<0.05)。脊髓损伤12周时,除上述改变外,胫骨上端骨体积百分比也明显降低(P〈0.05):股骨最大载荷进一步降低(P<0.001),结构刚度也明显下降(P〈0.05)。其他指标无明显改变(P〉0.05)。结论:脊髓损伤6周时,大鼠后肢骨已出现损害,12周时,其损害进一步加重。  相似文献

Background: Recently, the use of miniscrews as an anchorage device has become a routine approach in the orthodontic field. However, there is no report that has analyzed the healing process of the miniscrew, such as the thickness of the cortical bone, in the past. Purpose: In the present study, to histologically assess the healing process of the osseous tissue surrounding miniscrews used as an orthodontic anchorage, the change in the thickness of the cortical bone was analyzed after 3, 6, and 12 weeks after the placement. Furthermore, the change in the bone‐implant contact in different regions of the miniscrew during the initial healing period was also investigated. Materials and Methods: Ninety‐six miniscrews were placed in eight beagle dogs. After 3, 6, and 12 weeks of healing, a force of 200–300 g was applied to the force‐applied groups for 12 weeks. Non‐forced groups remained in the jaw without force application. Results: In the non‐forced groups, a significant amount of cortical bone was formed at the head of the miniscrew at the initial stage of the healing process in the maxilla. However, less cortical bone formation was observed in the mandible. After the force application, increased bone formation was observed within 1 mm of the miniscrew compared to other regions in both jaws. In the mandible, significantly less cortical bone was observed 3 and 6 weeks after the force application. Bone‐implant contact revealed that the osseous tissue surrounding the miniscrew matured from the apex toward the head of the miniscrew. Conclusion: We suggest that this sufficient amount of cortical bone at the initial stage of healing enables the immediate loading in miniscrews to resist against orthodontic force. Furthermore, less amount of cortical bone formed at the head of the miniscrew may be one reason for the higher failure rate in the mandible.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES: The aim of the present pilot study was to investigate initial and early tissue reactions to modified (mod) and conventional sand-blasted, large grit and acid-etched (SLA) titanium implants. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Implantation of modSLA and SLA implants was performed bilaterally in both the mandible and maxilla of dogs. The animals were sacrificed after a healing period of 1, 4, 7 and 14 days, respectively. Peri-implant tissue reactions were assessed in non-decalcified tissue sections using conventional histology (Toluidine blue-TB and Masson Goldner Trichrome stain-MG) and immunohistochemistry using monoclonal antibodies to transglutaminase II (TG) (angiogenesis) and osteocalcin (OC). Bone density (BD) and bone to implant contact (BIC) were assessed histomorphometrically. RESULTS: Day 1 revealed an early TG antigen reactivity in the provisional fibrin matrix adjacent to both implant surfaces. Day 4 was characterized by the formation of a collagen-rich connective tissue (MG), which revealed the first signs of OC synthesis adjacent to modSLA surfaces. Immunohistochemical staining for TG revealed a direct correlation between angiogenesis and new bone formation, which was clearly identifiable after 7 days by means of increasing BD, BIC and OC values. After 14 days, modSLA surfaces seemed to be surrounded by a firmly attached mature, parallel-fibered woven bone. CONCLUSIONS: Within the limits of the present study, it might be concluded that the combination of immunohistochemical and conventional histological stainings in non-decalcified tissue sections is a valuable technique to evaluate the initial and early stages of wound healing around endosseous titanium implants.  相似文献
