ObjectiveTo explore specific flora in mouse models of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) to improve NASH diagnostic protocols.MethodsSixty mice were divided into normal diet (ND, 20 mice) and high-fat/high-sugar diet (HFSD) groups (40 mice). After 8 weeks of feeding, 10 mice in the ND group and 20 mice in the HFSD group were sacrificed to create the short-term ND and non-alcoholic fatty liver (NAFL) groups, respectively. After 16 weeks of feeding, the remaining mice were sacrificed to create the long-term ND and NASH groups, respectively. We then examined fecal flora, serum biochemical indices, and lipopolysaccharide and tumor necrosis factor-α levels and analyzed liver tissue.ResultsThe relative abundance of Lactobacillus, Desulfovibrio, Ruminiclostridium 9, and Turicibacter differed between NASH and NAFL mice, and the areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve of the four genera for diagnosing NASH were 0.705, 0.734, 0.737, and 0.937. The non-alcoholic fatty liver disease activity score was positively correlated with the relative abundance of Desulfovibrio (r = 0.353), Ruminiclostridium 9 (r = 0.431), and Turicibacter (r = 0.688).ConclusionsThe relative abundance of Lactobacillus, Desulfovibrio, Ruminiclostridium, and Turicibacter may help distinguish NASH from NAFL.  相似文献

目的对比观察结肠水疗联合益肠通秘汤及乳酸菌素片治疗脾肾阳虚型功能性便秘的临床疗效。方法将2017年1月至2018年1月湖北省中医院肛肠科收治的91例脾肾阳虚型功能性便秘患者按照随机数表法分为治疗组(46例)与对照组(45例),其中治疗组患者采用结肠水疗联合益肠通秘汤及乳酸菌素片治疗,对照组患者采用结肠水疗联合枸橼酸莫沙必利片治疗,对比观察两组患者治疗30 d时的排便情况、临床疗效及治疗1年后的复发情况结果治疗30 d时,治疗组患者排便耗时、排便频率、排便顺畅度及便后不尽感评分明显低于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(t=4.487、4.734、4.647、4.262,P=0.003、0.004、0.004、0.008);治疗30 d时,治疗组患者治疗总有效率为95.65%,明显高于对照组患者的治疗总有效率77.78%,差异具有统计学意义(Mann-Whitney U=766.000,Z=-2.396,P=0.017)治疗1年后随访,治疗组32例痊愈患者中复发2例,复发率为6.25%;对照组21例痊愈患者中复发6例,复发率为28.57%。结论与结肠水疗联合枸橼酸莫沙必利片相比,结肠水疗联合益肠通秘汤及乳酸菌素片更能有效改善脾肾阳虚型功能性便秘患者的便秘症状,且复发率较低,疗效显著,值得临床推广应用。  相似文献

宫颈疾病包括宫颈炎症、宫颈鳞状上皮内病变及宫颈癌,近年研究发现阴道微生物菌群产生的细胞因子及局部免疫系统与宫颈疾病的发生、发展有关。正常女性的阴道微生态环境由多种微生物构成,其中乳杆菌对维持阴道微生态平衡发挥着重要作用。宫颈癌在女性恶性肿瘤中发生率位居第一,其发生与人乳头瘤病毒(HPV)持续感染密切相关,但并非所有感染HPV者均患宫颈癌,其病因为多因素综合作用。因乳杆菌变化导致的阴道疾病与HPV感染相互作用,共同参与宫颈疾病的发生、进展,系统有效的阴道微生态环境检测对及时调节阴道微生态平衡非常重要。阴道微生物菌群与宫颈疾病之间的关系成为许多学者的研究热点,综述阴道微生态与宫颈疾病发生、发展的相关性,为宫颈疾病尤其是宫颈癌的预防、治疗及预后提供理论依据。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Probiotic products have been shown to have beneficial effects on human hosts, but what happens in the gastrointestinal tract after its ingestion remains unclear. Our aim was to investigate the changes within the small intestines after a single intake of a fermented milk product containing a probiotic. We have periodically collected the small-intestinal fluids from the terminal ileum of seven healthy subjects for up to 7 h after ingestion by small-intestinal fluid perfusion using an endoscopic retrograde bowel insertion technique. The bacterial composition of the terminal ileum clearly revealed that the ingested probiotics (Lactobacillus casei strain Shirota: LcS and Bifidobacterium breve strain Yakult: BbrY) occupied the ileal microbiota for several hours, temporarily representing over 90% of the ileal microbiota in several subjects. Cultivation of ileal fluids showed that under a dramatic pH changes before reaching the terminal ileum, a certain number of the ingested bacteria survived (8.2 ± 6.4% of LcS, 7.8 ± 11.0% of BbrY). This means that more than 1 billion LcS and BbrY cells reached the terminal ileum with their colony-forming ability intact. These results indicate that there is adequate opportunity for the ingested probiotics to continuously stimulate the host cells in the small intestines. Our data suggest that probiotic fermented milk intake affects intestinal microbes and the host, explaining part of the process from the intake of probiotics to the exertion of their beneficial effects on the host.  相似文献

目的:观察茵栀黄口服液联合双歧杆菌乳杆菌三联活菌片治疗新生儿黄疸的临床疗效,及对血清总胆汁酸浓度变化的影响。方法:将87例患儿随机分为对照组45例和治疗组42例,两组患儿均行新生儿黄疸常规治疗,对照组在对照组基础上加双歧杆菌乳杆菌三联活菌片,治疗组在对照组基础上联合茵栀黄口服液治疗。治疗后比较两组患儿的黄疸消退时间、大便性状恢复时间、肝功能和两组患者的临床疗效。结果:治疗后两组患儿病情均好转,治疗组黄疸消退时间及大便性状恢复时间均少于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P0.05);两组患儿天冬氨酸转氨酶(aspartate aminotransferase,AST)、丙氨酸转氨酶(alanine aminotransferase,ALT)、谷氨酰转移酶(gamma-glutamyl transferase,GGT)、碱性磷酸酶(alkaline phosphatase,ALP),总胆红素(total bilirubin,TBIL)、直接胆红素(direct bilirubin,DBIL)、总胆汁酸(Total bile acids,TBA)均降低,治疗组改善更显著,差异有统计学意义(P0.05);两组患者临床疗效比较,对照组有效率为80.00%,治疗组有效率为95.24%,差异有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论:茵栀黄口服液联合双歧杆菌乳杆菌三联活菌片治疗新生儿黄疸疗效显著,可更好地改善肝功能,促进黄疸消退及大便性状恢复。  相似文献

Ulceration of the foot in diabetes is common and disabling, and frequently leads to amputation of the leg. The pathogenesis of foot ulceration is complex, clinical presentation variable and management requires early expert assessment. Despite treatment, ulcers readily become chronic wounds. Chronic wounds are those that remain in a chronic inflammatory state failing a normal healing process patterns. This is partially caused by inefficient eradication of opportunistic pathogens like Pseudomonas aeruginosa. We propose its control or eradication will promote wound healing. Lactobacillus plantarum cultures supernatants (LAPS) shows antipathogenic and pro-healing properties. The main objective was to design two pharmaceutical dosage forms by using LAPS as active pharmaceutical ingredient and to perform its quality control, in vitro activity conservation tests and human trials (safety evaluation). Both selected formulations reach the technological quality expected for 120 days, shows adequate occlusive characteristics and proper adhesion to human skin. From the in vitro release assays were found that LAPS shows adequate release from matrix and maintain its antimicrobial and anti-biofilm activity. First human trials were developed and neither edema nor erythema on healthy skin voluntaries was found. We conclude that C80 and C100 are adequate for their use in future clinical trials to demonstrate a comprehensive therapeutic effectiveness in ischemic chronic wounds.  相似文献

Given the increasing commercial and clinical relevance of probiotics, improving their stress tolerance profile and ability to overcome the physiochemical defences of the host is an important biological goal. Herein, I review the current state of the art in the design of engineered probiotic cultures, with a specific focus on their utility as therapeutics for the developing world; from the treatment of chronic and acute enteric infections, andtheir associated diarrhoeal complexes, to targeting HIV and application as novel mucosal vaccine delivery vehicles.  相似文献
