Spectral characteristics of early receptor potential in congenital red-green color blindness

The spectral response curve (amplitude versus wavelength) of the R₂ of the early receptor potential (ERP) was studied in normal, protan, and deutan subjects. The R₂ amplitude peaked at 520nm in most normal subjects. The R₂ at long wavelengths was smaller than normal in protans and larger than normal in deutans when the maximum amplitudes were normalized to 100% at the peak. The ratio of the R₂ amplitude at 460 nm to that at 600 nm clearly differed between protans and deutans. The ERP and the rapid off-response, which is mainly due to the cessation of the late receptor potential, were recorded in the same subjects. The ratio of the sensitivity of the rapid off-response at 500 nm to that at 600 nm was correlated with the ratio of the R₂ amplitude at 460 nm to that at 600nm (correlation coefficient, 0.823, p < 0.001). This study, in conjunction with our previous study, indicates that the abnormality is in the outer segments of the cones in protans and deutans.

艾灸对宫颈癌放疗患者血象影响的观察

目的 探讨艾灸减轻放疗对宫颈癌患者血液系统损伤的作用。方法 61例宫颈癌患者分为艾灸治疗组、对照组，观察艾灸对宫颈癌放疗患者血象的影响。结果 艾灸能提高宫颈癌放疗患者的红细胞（P＜0．05）、血色素（P＜0．01）及血小板数，减轻放疗对白细胞的损害（P＜0．01）。结论 艾灸具有抗放疗对宫颈癌（肿瘤）患者血液系统损害的作用，起到抗肿瘤、增强机体免疫功能、有利机体康复的作用。     

醒脑开窍针刺法治疗恢复期中风临床及实验研究

采用醒脑开窍针刺法与传统针刺法治疗恢复期中风92例,按随机原则分成醒脑开窍针刺组50例,传统针法组42例。治疗结果表明,醒脑组与传统组基本治愈率分别为42％、16.67％,醒脑组显效及有效率亦明显优于传统组。实验结果表明,醒脑组在血液流变学、血脂、微循环和体外血栓形成等绝大多数指标上,均有明显改善,其程度和范围均明显优于传统针刺组。     

Keratoconus in monozygotic twins in New Zealand

We report on a case of keratoconus in identical twins who were brought up in Christchurch, New Zealand. Videokeratoscopy using an EyeSys^a (EyeSys Laboratories, Houston, Texas, USA) revealed not only marked differences in severity of keratoconus between the sisters, but also non-equivalent cone types. Both twin sisters reported an exacerbation of their keratoconus during pregnancy and during breast feeding. Various factors affecting the development and progression of keratoconus are discussed. Acute neurite retraction triggered by lysophosphatidic acid: timing of the inhibitory effects of genistein

Acute neurite retraction, elicited by diverse agents in several neuronal cell types, has been reported to be inhibited by genistein, a kinase antagonist that is relatively (though not absolutely) selective for tyrosine kinases. It was hypothesized that genistein acts upon ssome final common pathway that integrates multiple extrinsic and intrinsic signals to regulate whether neurites will execute a retraction response (J. Neurochem., 61 (1993) 340–343). To define this pathway in more detail, a quantitative study of NG108-15 cell rapid-onset neurites was carried out as they retract in response to lysophosphatidic acid (LPA, 10 μM). Following the application of LPA, most neurites exhibited early morphologic changes between 0.5 and 1.5 min, followed by progressive shortening and eventual retraction, with 50% of neurites completely retracted by 5 min and 80% gone by 10 min. Genistein did not inhibit the formation of subcortical F-actin, nor its functional competence in several assays. Genistein protected neurites when added at any time prior to the onset of the earliest morphologic changes, but failed to block progression when added to neurites that were already undergoing retraction. These findings imply that the final common pathway (i.e. the critical target(s) for genistein) must be activated late, after the increase in F-actin levels has peaked and just before retraction is initiated.     

中西药物保留灌肠合并针灸治疗溃疡性结肠炎的临床研究

目的 观察中西药物保留灌肠合并针灸治疗溃疡性结肠炎(UC)的疗效.方法 对确诊的63例UC患者随机分为两组,治疗组(32例)用中西药物150 mL睡前保留灌肠合并针灸治疗,每日1次,疗程4周;对照组(31例)用强的松龙100 mg、庆大霉素16万u加生理盐水150 mL睡前保留灌肠,每日1次,疗程4周.然后比较疗效.结果 治疗组疗效明显高于对照组,总有效率分别为96.9%和77.4%,1年复发率分别为9.37%和25.8% (P<0.05).两组差异有统计学意义.结论 中西药物保留灌肠合并针灸治疗UC疗效显著,复发率低,有临床应用价值.     

双环法旋转圆锥状腺体蒂乳房缩吊术

目的改进传统的双环法在乳房缩小术、乳房悬吊术术后外形扁平，凸度不足，上极瘪陷，提升不够等缺点。方法采用双环切口。“扇”形分离、切除皮下部分脂肪，“楔”形切除适量的外上象限腺体，螺旋状旋转剩余腺体成圆锥状，将其固定在第2肋软骨膜上，矫正轻中度乳房肥大和下垂。结果术后随访20例患者1～3个月，乳房上极较丰满，形态好，乳头乳晕功能正常，切口瘢痕轻，乳房肥大和下垂的矫正获得了满意的效果。结论双环切口，螺旋状旋转剩余腺体成圆锥状，并固定于第2肋软骨膜上，可较好地塑形并悬吊乳房，其切口相对隐蔽，术后乳房高凸，上极略饱满，乳头微上翘，乳晕形态合适，是矫正轻中度乳房肥大下垂的一种较理想的术式。     

抗癫痫药物不良反应的针灸治疗

采用针灸方法治疗1例癫痫患者,选取可直接调心脑之气的心俞穴,起化痰作用的肝俞、肾俞穴,具有平衡阴阳之气的后藤艮山灸法(取穴:大椎、长强及其中点和中点左右各4cm处共5个穴位,均为非化脓灸),另外采用本神透阳白、阳白透本神的刺法,给上额以交叉刺激。经3个月治疗患者癫痫发作及药物副作用基本得到控制,疗效满意,但其治疗机制尚须深入探讨。
