中国医科大学馆藏明刻《仲景全书》近代流传考

中国医学书目》和《续中国医学书目》所载《仲景全书》是两个版本。中国医科大学图书馆馆藏《仲景全书》，系《续中国医学书目》所载的明代赵开美仿宋刻本。该书于昭和十年（1936）十一月八日，正式进入满洲医科大学。1945年国民党政府接管满洲医科大学，更名为国立沈阳医学院；1948年国立沈阳医学院由东北人民政府卫生部接管，1949年6月并人中国医科大学，满洲医科大学留下来的众多珍贵中医古籍遂归属中国医科大学所有。1964年，中国医科大学因故将所藏古籍几乎全部借给辽宁中医学院。1970年的3-4月间，古籍随同辽宁中医学院下放到辽阳，同年10月份又迁运沈阳。1978年，中国医科大学图书馆索回了借出的古籍，明代赵开美校刻的《仲景全书》由该馆收藏至今。     

Diversity of contralateral commissural projections in the embryonic rodent spinal cord

In vertebrate embryos, the axons of spinal commissural neurons grow toward and across the floor plate, a specialized structure located at the ventral midline. Although the initial segment of this trajectory has been intensively studied, relatively little is known about commissural axon pathfinding on the contralateral side of the floor plate in higher vertebrates. We recently demonstrated that many embryonic mouse and chick spinal commissural axons follow a complex trajectory once they cross the ventral midline. Here we use focal applications of 1,1'-dioctadecyl-3,3,3',3' tetramethylindocarbocyanine perchlorate (DiI) to identify four different contralateral commissural trajectories, two of which have not previously been described in the embryonic rodent spinal cord. Intermediate longitudinal commissural (ILC) axons travel away from the floor plate along an arcuate trajectory into intermediate regions of the spinal cord. In contrast, medial longitudinal commissural (MLC) axons grow alongside the floor plate, projecting primarily in the rostral direction. Bifurcating longitudinal commissural (BLC) axons branch into rostrally and caudally directed projections. Forked transverse commissural (FTC) axons either execute two orthogonal turns before crossing the floor plate or extend directly across the floor plate. We also show a variation in the relative frequencies of individual contralateral commissural projections along the dorsoventral and anteroposterior axes of the spinal cord. In addition, using a novel culture system, we demonstrate that commissural axons elaborate ILC-, MLC-, BLC-, and FTC-like trajectories in vitro. These results provide a basis for examining the mechanisms that regulate commissural axon pathfinding on the contralateral side of the floor plate in the embryonic rodent spinal cord.

The recording of clinical data for retrospective study

Summary Retrospective clinical studies usually depend on the retrieval of data from hospital records. It is generally accepted that the information obtainable suffers from deficiencies related to the way in which data has been stored and the purpose. Using a well defined clinical situation comparison of computer versus theatre (operation) book retrieval indicated the former to be more accurate. Both methods are subject to certain errors.     

简析古代医籍中禁针慎针腧穴的形态学依据

《素问》和《针灸甲乙经》等古医籍中记载了一些禁针慎针腧穴。选取鸠尾、神阙等八穴,从形态学角度进行分析,探讨其科学依据。     

Teaching On-Task and On-Schedule Behaviors to High-Functioning Children with Autism Via Picture Activity Schedules

The purpose of this investigation was to evaluate the effectiveness of a two-component teaching package (graduated guidance and visual activity schedules) in teaching young students with autism to increase on-task and on-schedule behavior. Four children enrolled in a resource-based classroom in a public elementary school served as participants. An A—B—A—B withdrawal design was used to evaluate the effectiveness of a picture activity schedule on the percentage of intervals scored as on-task and on-schedule. Generalization measures were taken on the percentage of intervals scored as on-task and on-schedule with novel activities. The results of the investigation indicate that (a) student performance rose to criterion levels upon introduction of the graduated guidance procedure, (b) student performance maintained when the picture activity book was available (Book Only) and dropped when the picture activity book was not available (No Book), and (c) student performance generalized to novel activities. The implications of these findings show the importance for future development and use of visual activity schedules to promote the independent functioning of students with autism spectrum disorders in their least restrictive environments.

通过对明代熊宗立家族刊刻中医古籍概况与特点的分析,认为种德堂刊刻医书侧重于医经、运气、医方及妇科、儿科等方面,具有芟繁择粹,从俗易解,继承传统,图书并茂,芟证类方、便于临床之特点,并介绍了熊氏刊刻的《新编名方类证医在全》、《瑞竹堂经验方》两种善本。     

Starchy Vegetables and Metabolic Syndrome in Costa Rica

Only a few studies primarily examined the associations between starchy vegetables (other than potatoes) and metabolic syndrome (MetS). We aimed to evaluate the association between starchy vegetables consumption and MetS in a population-based sample of Costa Rican adults. We hypothesized that a higher overall intake of starchy vegetables would not be associated with higher MetS prevalence. In this cross-sectional study, log-binomial regression models were used to estimate prevalence ratios (PRs) of MetS across quintiles of total, unhealthy, healthy starchy vegetables, and individual starchy vegetables (potatoes, purple sweet potatoes, etc.), among 1881 Costa Rican adults. Least square means and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) from linear regression models were estimated for each MetS component by categories of starchy vegetable variables. Higher intakes of starchy vegetables were associated with a higher prevalence of MetS in crude models, but no significant trends were observed after adjusting for confounders. A significant inverse association was observed between total starchy and healthy starchy vegetables consumption and fasting blood glucose. In this population, starchy vegetables might be part of a healthy dietary pattern.
