Research question

Does the blastocyst development stage on embryo transfer day affect serum β-human chorionic gonadotrophin (β-HCG) concentration 9 and 16 days after embryo transfer in women whose pregnancy progresses beyond 13 weeks?

Design

Retrospective study involving 204 cases where pregnancy progressed beyond 13 weeks of single blastocyst transfer in fresh (n = 66) or frozen embryo transfer (FET) (n = 138) cycles from January 2015 to September 2016.

Results

β-HCG concentrations 9 and 16 days after embryo transfer in FET cycles (median 223 IU/l and 4378 IU/l, respectively) were significantly (P < 0.001) higher than in fresh cycles (157 IU/l and 2813 IU/l). Among fresh cycles, faster-growing blastocysts (expanded?+?hatching?+?hatched blastocysts) produced significantly (P < 0.001) higher β-HCG concentrations 9 days after embryo transfer (191 IU/l) than slower-growing blastocysts (cavitating?+?full blastocyst, 106 IU/l); however no significant difference was found between the faster- and slower-growing groups by day 16 (2359 IU/l and 3025 IU/l, respectively). Among FET cycles, there was no difference in β-HCG concentration between blastocysts of different development stages 9 and 16 days after transfer.

Conclusions

Faster-growing blastocysts produced significantly higher serum β-HCG concentrations 9 days after transfer than slower-growing blastocysts in fresh cycles, but the difference was not significant by day 16 after transfer. Also, β-HCG concentrations 9 and 16 days after embryo transfer in FET cycles were higher than in fresh embryo transfer cycles. Interpretation of β-HCG results 9 days after blastocyst transfer should consider the blastocyst growth rate and whether fresh or cryopreserved embryo was transferred.  相似文献

目的探讨血浆转化生长因子-β1(TGF-β1)与骨形成蛋白-7(BMP-7)的水平变化对早产儿支气管肺发育不良(BPD)的早期预测作用。方法选择2017年7月—2018年8月新生儿重症监护室收治的84例出生胎龄28~32周、出生体质量1 500 g的早产儿,根据BPD诊断标准分为BPD组(n=31)和非BPD组(n=53)。生后第1、7、14天分别采集外周血,通过酶联免疫吸附法检测血浆TGF-β1和BMP-7浓度,并进行比较。结果经重复测量方差分析发现,两组间血浆TGF-β1和BMP-7浓度的差异均有统计学意义(P0. 001);两组血浆TGF-β1和BMP-7浓度随着时间点变化趋势的差异也有统计学意义(P0.001)。BPD组TGF-β1水平在第1天轻度上升,第7天较前下降,第14天明显升高;血浆BMP-7水平在第1天轻度上升,第7天继续上升,第14天较前下降;BPD组患儿在生后各时间点的TGF-β1和BMP-7浓度均高于非BPD组。结论生后早期血浆TGF-β1与BMP-7水平检测有助于早产儿BPD的早期预测。  相似文献

慢性前列腺炎患者前列腺液IL-1β和TNF-α的检测及意义   总被引:3,自引:2,他引:1  
目的 :了解IL 1β和TNF α在慢性前列腺炎患者前列腺按摩液 (EPS)中的变化及临床意义。  方法 :应用ELISA法对 34例慢性前列腺炎 [EPS中白细胞 (WBC)计数≥ 10 /HP为A组 16例 ,WBC <10 /HP为B组 18例 ]、10例无症状性前列腺炎、12例良性前列腺增生 (BPH)及 8例健康对照EPS中的IL 1β和TNF α进行检测。  结果 :IL 1β和TNF α在EPS中WBC≥ 10 /HP的慢性前列腺炎和无症状性前列腺炎两组检测值明显高于WBC <10 /HP的慢性前列腺炎、BPH和健康对照 3组 (P <0 .0 5 ,P <0 .0 2 )。IL 1β与TNF α有显著的数列等级相关性 (P <0 .0 0 3) ,而WBC计数和IL 1β、TNF α之间的数列等级相关性无显著性意义。  结论 :IL 1β与TNF α在伴有WBC计数增高的慢性前列腺炎患者EPS中明显增高 ,IL 1β与TNF α对传统以WBC计数为慢性前列腺炎进行分类的方法可以提供一个更准确的新分类方法。  相似文献

Neurotransmitters and hormones mediate their effects through interaction with specific receptors. A complete understanding of the effects of these chemical signals requires detailed knowledge, at the molecular level, of agonist/receptor interactions. It is likely that agonists and antagonists interact with the same site on a receptor. Agonists, however, are by definition different from antagonists in that agonists are responsible for transducing information across the cell membrane, ultimately resulting in a biological response, while antagonists appear to act through passive occupancy of receptors. Implicit in this concept is the idea that these fundamental differences between agonists and antagonists arise from the sequelae induced by agonist-specific interactions with receptors.  相似文献

从贝母新种——宁国贝母(Fritillaria ningguoensis S. C. Chen et S. F. Yin)鳞茎中分离出五个生物碱,其中碱V是一种新的生物碱,命名为宁贝新(ningpeisine),根据理化常数和光谱解析以及衍生物制备,测定其结构为N-methyl-3β-hydroxy-5α-veratranine-6-one。其余四种生物碱鉴定为浙贝甲素(peimine,verticine,Ⅰ),浙贝乙素(peiminine,verticinone,Ⅱ),异浙贝甲素(isoverticine,Ⅲ)和贝母辛(peimisine,Ⅳ)。  相似文献

Abstract: We tried to find functional evidence for the existence of β1 - and β2-adrenoceptors in the isolated guinea-pig lung parenchymal strip preparation, using potent and selective β1- and β2-adrenoceptor stimulation. To obtain potent β1-adrenoceptor stimulation the nonselective β-adrenoceptor agonist isoprenaline was combined with a highly selective β2-adrenoceptor antagonist ICI 118,551. Potent β2-adrenoceptor stimulation was obtained by procaterol. Practolol (β1-adrenoceptor antagonist) and ICI 118,551 were used as antagonists. ICI 118,551, 107 mol/l, shifted the concentration response (C/R) curve of isoprenaline to a higher concentration range. The C/R curve of procaterol was shifted in the same way and to the same degree by this concentration of ICI 118,551. The C/R curve of isoprenaline was not further shifted after blockade with a combination of ICI 118,551, 10-7 mol/l, and practolol, 10-6 mol/l. However, in the trachea preparation, a tissue containing both β1- and β2-adrenoceptors, there was a further shift of the C/R curve of isoprenaline to a higher concentration range after blockade with a combination of ICI 118,551 and practolol in the concentrations given above. In this preparation the shift of the C/R curve of procaterol was ten times greater than that of isoprenaline after blockade with ICI 118,551, 107 mol/l. We conclude that it is possible to characterize small fractions of β1-adrenoceptors coexisting with β2-adrenoceptors with the technique used. Furthermore there is still no functional evidence of the existence of β1-adrenoceptors in the lung parenchyma.:  相似文献

A variety of enzymes were identified in rat tears and lacrimal gland fluid. The use of a tapered glass cannula in the opening of the excretory duct was found to be an useful method to collect samples of rat lacrimal gland fluid, i.e., the fluid directly originated from the main excretory duct of the lacrimal gland, uncontaminated by secretions from the Harderian gland and from desquamating conjunctival and corneal epithelial cells. Based upon comparison of the enzyme pattern in tears, lacrimal gland fluid and the lacrimal gland tissue, we concluded that the lacrimal gland is the primary tissue source for peroxidase (POD), amylase (AMY) and total protein in rat tears, while plasminogen activator and lactatedehydrogenase (LDH) may be present in tears primarily as secretion products from other ocular tissue sources. beta-hexosaminidase (beta-hex) is released from the lacrimal gland and from other ocular tissue sources as well.  相似文献

Microprobes bearing immobilized antibodies to the carboxy-terminus of β-endorphin were used to study the release of β-endorphin in the urethane anaesthetized rat following electrical stimulation of the ipsilateral arcuate nucleus. The microprobes were inserted through the cerebral hemisphere, the superior colliculus and the midbrain periaqueductal grey. Since such microprobes detect extracellular molecules along their entire length they give information on the persistence and spread of compounds following release. Little immunoreactive-β-endorphin was detected in the areas of brain sampled during electrical stimulation of arcuate nucleus but a remarkable spread throughout the midbrain and cerebral cortex occurred within 30 min of the cessation of stimulation. The results suggest that although β-endorphin-containing fibres are absent in many parts of the brain, this neuropeptide can access receptors in these sites and it is not necessary for release to be directly adjacent to opiate receptors. As such it is important evidence supporting the hypothesis of volume transmission as a means of neuronal communication. The results also suggest that an important mechanism of the transport of β-endorphin is the cerebrospinal fluid.  相似文献
