Objective
Analyze the relation between both these variables (affects and personality).Method
To evaluate the relation between affects and personality, 652 university students were evaluated, through questionnaires PANAS (affects) and ZKPQ-50-CC (personality).Results
The results showed how males presented higher levels of impulsiveness, activity, sociability and aggressiveness, and no differences in handling affects were found. Those people who used positive affects more showed higher levels of activity, sociability and impulsiveness. Personality influenced affects for three of its factors, Anxiety, Activity and Aggressiveness, and was a good predictor of affects. Anxiety also strongly influenced the prognosis of negative affects.Conclusions

Objective
The aim of this study is to describe the imaging features of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma in Gd-EOB-DTPA-enhanced MRI and to determine whether it results in improved tumour conspicuity of cholangiocarcinoma.Materials and methods
Fifty-four patients with histologically proven intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma underwent MRI of the liver using a 1.5 T MR-scanner with Gadoxetic acid disodium (Gd-EOB-DTPA; Eovist/Primovist, Bayer Healthcare, Berlin, Germany). The standard imaging protocol included a T2w multi-shot TSE sequence with fat saturation (fs), a T2w single shot sequence without fs and a T1w 3D GRE sequences with fs (unenhanced and arterial, portovenous, late venous and hepatobiliary phase). Two board certified radiologists experienced in liver MRI (5 and 10 years experience) evaluated retrospectively all MRI scans qualitatively and quantitatively. Signal was measured with region-of-interests (ROI) and signal-to-noise (SNR) as well as contrast-to-noise (CNR) was calculated. Statistical significance was tested with an ANOVA and a pairwise Wilcoxon rank test.Results
All intrahepatic cholangiocarcinomas presented as hypointense lesions in the late venous and hepatobiliary phase. Images in the hepatobiliary phase showed the highest lesion conspicuity, i.e. n = 9 blurred (16.6%), n = 31 moderate (57.4%) and n = 14 sharp (26%). This was significantly higher than the lesion conspicuity of all other sequences or phases. Furthermore, the CNR was the highest in this sequence with 76.8 ± 51.3, with significantly higher values than the CNR of the unenhanced T1w sequence (CNR: 35.6 ± 21.0; p < 0.0001) and the arterial phase images (CNR: 53.6 ± 36.8; p < 0.001). The hepatobiliary phase images showed a SNR of 97.3 ± 59.7 (p < 0.001) and thus was significantly different from the unenhanced T1w sequence (SNR: 60.4 ± 35.3; p < 0.001), whereas the increase in SNR from the late venous to hepatobiliary phase was neglectable, indicating that no liver-specific contrast uptake is present in cholangiocarcinoma.Conclusion
Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma presents as a hypointense lesion in Gd-EOB-DTPA-enhanced MRI in late venous phase images. The lesion conspicuity as well as CNR was highest in the hepatobiliary phase. Consequently, hepatobiliary phase images in Gd-EOB-DTPA-enhanced MRI images might be helpful for therapy planning due to the exact depiction of the tumour borders. 相似文献63.

Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) is a common malignancy in China; however, publically available LSCC cell lines are few and not established from Chinese populations. Hence, novel and well-characterized LSCC cell lines of Chinese origin are urgently needed to provide researchers with a comprehensive database for LSCC research. From 40 cases of LSCC, we established a novel cell line that was maintained for more than 100 passages in vitro and was found to have typical epithelial morphology and ultrastructure. In-depth characterization analysis revealed polyploidy in DNA content; a doubling time of some 24 h; high tumorigenicity in immunodeficient mice; higher invasive potential and more sensitive to radiation and cisplatin compared with HeLa cell line; upregulated Ki67, Notch1, EGFR, and CK5 protein levels; negative infection of human papillomavirus (HPV) and mycoplasma; expression of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) biomarkers; mutations of TP53 in exons 5 and 8; a near-triploid karyotype with complex structural aberrations; and dozens of dysregulated genes and miRNAs. Cell authentication testing by the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) confirmed the human origin of this cell line. Our findings indicate that a novel and well-differentiated LSCC cell line recapitulating the primary tumor’s malignant characteristics is established and well characterized. To date experimental in vivo pheochromocytoma (PC) models have not been available. A major in vitro PC model consists of PC12 cells that respond to nerve growth factor (NGF) by differentiation, mediated by the trkA receptor. We report the establishment of PC12 tumor models expressing low and high levels of trkA receptor in CD1 nude mice. The tumors are characterized by their responsiveness to NGF, karyotype, presence of enolase, and chromaffin granules, as well as dopamine release. The topic of the present paper is the detection of IgE-related allergens in mango fruit. Furthermore the occurrence of allergens during ripening of mango fruit is investigated. In order to identify the molecular weights of IgE-binding allergens SDS-PAGE/immunoblotting was performed. Fifty-two sera from patients with IgE-mediated sensitization to mango fruit were used. Forty-six of the 52 patient sera detected two allergens with molecular weights of approximately 40 and 30 kDa. These can be described as the so-called major allergens. Other IgE-binding patterns were detected for fewer than 50% of the assigned sera. By 2D-electrophoresis it could be proved that the major allergen with a molecular weight of approximately 40 kDa exists as an isoallergen with isoelectric points of 4.6 and 4.8. The allergen with a molecular weight of approximately 30 kDa had an isoelectric point of 4.9. According to international rules, the 40 kDa allergen was named Mangifera indica 1 (Man i 1) and the 30 kDa allergen , Mangifera indica 2 (Man i 2). By means of SDS-PAGE/ immunoblotting, immunoblot inhibition and EAST-inhibition it could be shown that there is no significant difference in the allergenic potency during fruit ripening. 相似文献

Collagen is the major fibrillar component and protein in both human and animal connective tissue. It is applied in medical preparations, e.g. wound dressings and tissue engineering. Meat and poultry production industries result in large amounts of organic waste, rich in collagen. Our aim was to isolate and characterize pepsin soluble collagen from turkey tendon. Structural analysis indicated the presence of α-chains from both collagen type I and III, β-dimers and γ-trimers, consistent with the estimated molecular weight of 477.3 kDa. Circular dichroism spectroscopy confirmed an intact triple helix. The collagen demonstrated excellent thermal stability, with denaturation temperatures (Tmax) at 38.5 °C and 44.5 °C and partial refolding after extensive heating. Biocompatibility was confirmed through cell viability tests. The collagen was investigated for its potential drug carrier ability. Freeze dried collagen scaffolds containing prilocaine hydrochloride and riboflavin were prepared in the presence or absence of photo-crosslinking. Photochemical crosslinking was confirmed by SEM and enhanced mechanical properties were observed. Scaffolds had a significant slower in vitro release of the active ingredient than a reference solution. Altogether, our study suggests collagen from turkey tendon as a promising sustainable biomaterial for pharmaceutical use. 相似文献
