Purpose

We aimed to explore how patients make decisions regarding use of preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) for in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Methods

This is a cross-sectional survey at an academic medical center. Three hundred subjects initiating an IVF cycle over 8 weeks were asked to complete a validated survey to determine how they decided whether or not to pursue PGT-A. All patients were previously counseled that the primary goal of PGT-A is to maximize pregnancy rates per embryo transfer. Survey responses were compared between those who elected PGT-A and those who did not with a chi-squared or t test.

Results

Of 191 subjects who completed the survey, 117 (61%) planned PGT-A, while 74 (39%) did not. Among those who decided to undergo PGT-A, 56% stated their primary reason was to have a healthy baby, while 18% chose PGT-A to reduce the incidence of birth defects, and 16% aimed to decrease the risk of miscarriage. Patients who decided not to pursue PGT-A stated they prioritized avoiding the scenario in which they might have no embryos to transfer (36%) or reducing cost (31%). Both groups rated physicians as the single most important source of information in their decision-making (56% vs 68%, p?=?NS).

Conclusions

Patients who chose to undergo PGT-A have different priorities from those who do not. Many patients planning PGT-A do so for reasons that are not evidence-based. While patients cite physicians as their primary source of information in the decision-making process, rationales for selecting PGT-A are inconsistent with physician counseling.

Purpose

The purpose of the study is to calculate the cumulative pregnancy rate and cumulative live birth rate in women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) at ages 44–45.

Methods

The study calculated cumulative live pregnancy rate and cumulative live birth rate of 124 women aged 44 to 45 years old who commenced IVF treatment.

Main outcome measures

The main outcome measures are cumulative live pregnancy rate and cumulative live birth rate.

Results

Cumulative live pregnancy rates following 1, 2, 3, and 4 cycles were 5.6, 11, 17, and 20%, respectively, with no additional pregnancies in further cycles. Cumulative live birth rates following 1, 2, and 3 cycles were 1.6, 3, and 7%, respectively, with no additional live births in further cycles.

Conclusions

The cumulative pregnancy rate rises during the first 4 cycles and cumulative live birth rate rises during the first 3 cycles, with no additional rise in pregnancies or deliveries thereafter, suggesting that it is futile to offer more than 3 cycles of treatment to 44–45-year-old women.

Purpose

This study aims to describe the role of implementing good laboratory practices to improve in vitro fertilization (IVF) outcomes which are of great interest for practitioners dealing with infertility.

Methods

Certain modifications were introduced in May 2015 in our IVF laboratory like high-efficiency particulate air CODA system, steel furniture instead of wooden, use of new disinfectants like oosafe, and restriction of personnel entry along with avoidance of cosmetics like perfume to improve pregnancy rates. Volatile organic compound (VOC) meter reading was monitored at two time points and five different places in the laboratory to compare the embryonic development parameters before (group A: July 2014–April 2015) and after (group B: July 2015–April 2016) remodeling.

Results

The IVF outcomes from 1036 cycles were associated in this study. Reduction in VOC meter readings, enhanced air quality, improvement in blastocyst formation rate, implantation, and clinical pregnancy rate were observed in the laboratory after implementation of new facilities. Results illustrated that the attention must be focused on potential hazards which expose laboratories to elevated VOC levels. Blastocyst formation rate increased around 18%. Implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, and live birth rate increased by around 11, 10, and 8%, respectively.

Conclusion

In conclusion, with proper engineering and material selection, we have been able to reduce chemical contamination and adverse effects on culture with optimized IVF results.

Objective

The objective of this study is to evaluate patient concerns about in vitro fertilization (IVF) errors and electronic witness systems (EWS) satisfaction.

Design

The design of this study is a prospective single-center cohort study.

Setting

The setting of this study was located in the private IVF center.

Patient(s)

Four hundred eight infertile patients attending an IVF cycle at a GENERA center in Italy were equipped with an EWS.

Intervention(s)

Although generally recognized as a very rare event in IVF, biological sample mix-up has been reported in the literature. For this reason, some IVF laboratories have introduced EWS with the aim to further reduce the risk of error during biological samples handling. Participating patients received a questionnaire developed through a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 6.

Main outcomes measure(s)

Patient concerns about sample mix-up without and with an EWS were assessed.

Result(s)

90.4 % of patients expressed significant concerns relating to sample mix-up. The EWS reduced these concerns in 92.1 % of patients, 97.1 % of which were particularly satisfied with the electronic traceability of their gametes and embryos in the IVF laboratory. 97.1 % of patients felt highly comfortable with an IVF center equipped with an EWS. Female patients had a significantly higher appreciation of the EWS when compared to their male partners (p?=?0.029). A significant mix-up event occurred in an Italian hospital during the study and patient’s satisfaction increased significantly towards the use of the EWS after the event (p?=?0.032).

Conclusion(s)

EWS, by sensibly reducing the risk for sample mix-up in IVF cycles, has been proved to be a trusted strategy from patient’s perspective.

Background

Endometriosis is the second most frequent benign gynecological disease in women during the fertile period after uterine myoma. Endometriosis is frequently associated with infertility.

Objective

The aim of this article is to provide insights into the causes and treatment options for patients with endometriosis and a desire for children and to discuss the influence of endometriosis on pregnancy.

Material and methods

This article gives a review and summary of the current literature on this topic.

Results and conclusion

Surgical removal of endometriosis can have a positive impact on the prognosis for spontaneous conception. Endometriosis should no longer be automatically surgically treated prior to in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). Although there is no proven impact of ovarian endometriosis, deep infiltrating endometriosis and colorectal endometriosis on the probability of pregnancy after IVF or ICSI treatment, these lesions can potentially have a harmful effect during pregnancy.

Purpose

To determine the expected out-of-pocket costs of IVF with preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) to attain a 50%, 75%, or 90% likelihood of a euploid blastocyst based on individual age and AMH, and develop a personalized counseling tool.

Methods

A cost analysis was performed and a counseling tool was developed using retrospective data from IVF cycles intended for PGT or blastocyst freeze-all between January 1, 2014 and August 31, 2017 (n?=?330) and aggregate statistics on euploidy rates of >?149,000 embryos from CooperGenomics. Poisson regression was used to determine the number of biopsiable blastocysts obtained per cycle, based on age and AMH. The expected costs of attaining a 50%, 75%, and 90% likelihood of a euploid blastocyst were determined via 10,000 Monte Carlo simulations for each age and AMH combination, incorporating age-based euploidy rates and IVF/PGT-A cost assumptions.

Results

The cost to attain a 50% likelihood of a euploid blastocyst ranges from approximately $15,000 U.S. dollars (USD) for younger women with higher AMH values (≥?2 ng/mL) to >?$150,000 for the oldest women (44 years) with the lowest AMH values (<?0.1 ng/mL) in this cohort. The cost to attain a 75% versus 90% likelihood of a euploid blastocyst is similar (~?$16,000) for younger women with higher AMH values, but varies for the oldest women with low AMH values (~?$280,000 and >?$450,000, respectively). A typical patient (36–37 years, AMH 2.5 ng/mL) should expect to spend ~?$30,000 for a 90% likelihood of attaining a euploid embryo.

Conclusions

This tool can serve as a counseling adjunct by providing individualized cost information for patients regarding PGT-A.

Purpose

To summarize available evidence from randomized-controlled trials which have evaluated triggering of final oocyte maturation with concomitant GnRH agonists and hCG in patients undergoing IVF, and to analyze whether dual triggering is as efficacious as hCG triggering in terms of oocyte and pregnancy outcomes.

Methods

A comprehensive literature search was performed to identify randomized-controlled trials comparing IVF outcomes between women receiving combined administration of hCG with GnRH agonists and those receiving hCG alone for triggering of final oocyte maturation.

Results

Four studies including 527 patients eligible for inclusion in meta-analysis were identified. No significant difference in the number of mature oocytes or fertilized oocytes retrieved was found between groups. Clinical pregnancy rate with dual triggering was significantly higher as compared with hCG-alone triggering (pooled OR?=?0.48, 95% CI 0.31–0.77, P?=?0.002), but there was no significant difference in the ongoing pregnancy rate between groups.

Conclusion

Results of meta-analysis indicate comparable or significantly improved outcomes with the use of GnRH agonists plus hCG as compared with hCG alone for triggering of final oocyte maturation.

Purpose

Bacterial contamination may cause loss or damage to cultured oocytes or embryos, resulting in cancelation or delaying of a fresh embryo transfer. While live births have been reported following the transfer of embryos contaminated with yeast, very little information is available on how to handle embryos with bacterial contamination. We report two cases of successful pregnancy in patients with bacterial contamination of embryo culture dishes.

Methods

We retrospectively reviewed 878 oocyte retrievals performed between January 2011 and December 2014. Bacterial contamination was recorded in two split IVF/ICSI cases, where contamination occurred in embryo culture drops containing embryos from conventional insemination but not from ICSI on day 3.

Results

To minimize the adverse effects of bacterial contamination on transfer outcomes, we removed the zona pellucida of contaminated frozen blastocysts and successfully obtained clinical pregnancies following transfer of zona-free blastocysts that were previously contaminated during IVF culture.

Conclusions

Removal of the zona pellucida is an appropriate approach to handle blastocysts contaminated with bacteria during in vitro culture.

Purpose of Review

The purpose of this paper is to review the development and clinical evaluation of AltaSeal® which is being developed as an easy-to-use hysteroscopic sterilization implant. The implant made from 316 LVM bio-compatible stainless steel has been tested in clinical trials both for its efficacy in preventing pregnancy and its ability to occlude fallopian tubes with hydrosalpinges ahead of in vitro fertilization (IVF) therapies.

Recent Findings

The clinical data to date suggests that when placed correctly, AltaSeal® can effectively prevent pregnancy. In an observational study of patients with hydrosalpinges, AltaSeal® data suggests that the fallopian tubes are effectively closed by the AltaSeal® implants, thereby increasing IVF efficacy.

Summary

The results to date suggest that AltaSeal® can efficiently occlude fallopian tubes for both the prevention of pregnancy and possibly return the success rate of IVF in patients with hydrosalpinges to levels seen in patients without hydrosalpinges. Further clinical studies are ongoing to expand the clinical data.

Purpose

The purpose of this study is to review recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) due to sperm chromosomal abnormalities and discuss the genetic counseling that is required for men with sperm chromosomal abnormalities.

Method

The literature was reviewed, and a genetic counselor lends her expertise as to how couples with RPL and sperm chromosomal abnormalities ought to be counseled. The review of the literature was performed using MEDLINE.

Results

Sperm fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) can be used to determine if disomy or unbalanced chromosomal translocations are present. In men with aneuploidy in sperm or who carry a chromosomal translocation, pre-implantation genetic screening (PGS) combined with in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) can increase chances of live birth. In men with abnormal sperm FISH results, the degree of increased risk of abnormal pregnancy remains unclear. Genetic counselors can provide information to couples about the risk for potential trisomies and sex chromosome aneuploidies and discuss their reproductive and testing options such as PGS, use of donor sperm, and adoption. The provision of genetic counseling also allows a couple to be educated about recommended prenatal testing since pregnancies conceived with a partner who has had abnormal sperm FISH are considered to be at increased risk for aneuploidy.

Conclusion

We review the literature and discuss genetic counseling for couples with RPL or recurrent implantation failure due to increased sperm aneuploidy.

Objective

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of alcohol consumption on outcomes among women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Design

This study is a retrospective cohort study.

Setting

This study was performed in a private academically affiliated IVF center.

Patients

Patients included women presenting for their first IVF cycle from July 2004 through October 2012.

Intervention

Women completed self-administered questionnaires before their first IVF cycle, which included report of usual alcohol consumption. Women were categorized as non-drinkers, social drinkers, or daily drinkers, as well as by the number of drinks consumed per week. Competing risks analysis was used to calculate the cumulative incidence of live birth after 6 cycles stratified by alcohol consumption.

Main outcome measures

Main outcome measures included spontaneous abortion, clinical pregnancy, and live birth following IVF.

Results

There were 591 (27.7%) non-drinkers, 1466 (68.7%) social drinkers, and 77 (3.6%) daily drinkers (total n = 2134). In the first cycle, compared to non-drinkers, daily drinkers had a twofold increased risk of spontaneous abortion (adjusted risk ratio [aRR] 2.2; 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.1–4.5) among all cycle starts, and while their risk of live birth was 30% lower (aRR 0.7; 95% CI 0.4–1.3), the sample size was small, and it was not significantly lower. By the end of 6 cycles, social drinkers and daily drinkers did not differ from non-drinkers in their cumulative incidence of live birth (56.1, 50.6, and 52.1%, respectively; both P ≥ 0.28).

Conclusion

There was a trend towards lower risk of live birth among daily drinkers. Daily drinkers had an increased risk of spontaneous abortion in the first cycle, but the number of daily drinkers was small.

Purpose

The purpose of this study was to compare the sizes of the placenta and umbilical cord in women with natural pregnancy versus those undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Methods

Overall, 1610 cases of uncomplicated single pregnancies with vaginal delivery at ≥?37 weeks of gestation were included in this study. The patients were divided into two groups: natural pregnancy group (n?=?1453) and IVF pregnancy not including intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatment (n?=?157). The groups were compared in terms of gestational week, maternal age, parity, maternal weight gain, prepregnancy maternal BMI, infant weight at birth, infant head circumference, placental weight, cross section of the placenta, cross section of the umbilical cord, insertion site of the umbilical cord, and umbilical cord length. Stepwise selection and multivariate logistic regression were used for statistical analysis to correct the result as an independent factor.

Results

There was no difference in the size of the placenta and umbilical cord between women with natural pregnancy and with IVF, but the incidence of velamentous insertion of the cord was significantly increased in women with IVF pregnancy (adjusted odd ratio [AOR] 1.72, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.08–2.72, p?=?0.026).

Conclusions

Although there is no difference in placental weight and cord size, velamentous insertion of the umbilical cord increases in IVF pregnancy and needs careful observation during the delivery process.

Purpose

To detect which factors influence decision-making among pregnant FMR1 premutation carriers regarding the preferred mode of genetic diagnosis: IVF-PGT-M (in vitro fertilization with preimplantation genetic testing for monogenic gene diseases), or CVS (chorionic villus sampling), or AC (amniocentesis) after spontaneous conception.

Methods

In Israel FMR1 premutation preconception genetic screening is offered, free of charge, to every woman in her reproductive years. FMR1 premutation carriers with ≥ 70 CGG repeats, or a history of FXS offspring, are offered IVF-PGT-M. This is a historical cohort study including all pregnant FMR1 premutation carriers who underwent prenatal diagnosis between the years 2011 and 2016 at a tertiary medical center. Data were collected from electronic charts and through phone interviews.

Results

One hundred seventy-five women with high-risk pregnancies who were offered IVF-PGT-M were evaluated. In 37 pregnancies (21%), the women decided to undergo IVF-PGT-M. Using the generalized estimating equations (GEE) statistical method including seven parameters, we found that previous termination of pregnancy due to FXS and advanced woman’s age were significantly associated with making the decision to undergo IVF-PGT-M. Previously failed IVF was the most significant parameter in a woman’s decision not to undergo IVF-PGT-M.

Conclusion

The most dominant factor affecting the decision of FMR1 premutation carriers to choose spontaneous conception with prenatal diagnosis versus IVF-PGT-M is a previous experience of failed IVF treatments. Women whose IVF treatments failed in the past tended to try to conceive naturally and later, during the course of the pregnancy, perform CVS or AC. Conversely, women who previously experienced a termination of pregnancy (TOP) due to an affected fetus, and older women, preferred to undergo IVF-PGT-M procedures.

Purpose

Our objective was to determine if a change in serum P4 from day of transfer (defined as day 19) to day 28 could predict live birth outcome in patients undergoing IVF.

Methods

This study was a retrospective analysis of fresh IVF cycles from 2010 to 2013 at a single center. Primary outcomes include raw and percent change in serum P4, live birth rate, missed abortion, and biochemical pregnancies.

Results

Our results showed an association between live birth rate and percent change in P4. Patients with a 10% or greater drop in serum P4 from day 19 to day 28 had a lower live birth rate, at 26 versus 63%. Interestingly, both groups had “normal” serum P4 levels on day 19, but patients with a 10% or greater drop had lower P4 levels than their counterparts. There was no association between percent P4 change and spontaneous abortion or biochemical pregnancy.

Conclusions

This is the first study to show that percent drop in serum P4 from day of transfer to day 28 is associated with decreased rates of live birth and ongoing pregnancy in fresh IVF cycles, even despite “high or normal” P4 levels on day of transfer.

Purpose

Patients undergoing in-vitro fertilization (IVF) with preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) are counseled about the limitations of this technique. As part of the consent process for PGS, physicians recommend diagnostic genetic testing performed in early pregnancy to definitively rule out chromosomal abnormalities. We have noted anecdotally, however, that few patients undergo the recommended diagnostic testing. In this study, we are examining if women who conceived using IVF-PGS did early pregnancy chromosomal testing, and if they did, what type of testing they had.

Methods

This study was performed from 2015 to 2017 in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Northwestern University. We included patients who became pregnant after IVF-PGS who were seen by the Division of Reproductive Genetics and non-PGS control group.

Results

Sixty-eight patients were included. A total of 50 patients (73.5%) opted for non-invasive prenatal screening; 5 (7.4%) had invasive testing (4 had chorionic villus sampling and 1 had amniocentesis). A total of 13 patients (19%) declined further genetic testing. When comparing demographic data, the mean age was significantly higher in the group of patients who pursued non-invasive testing than in the group who declined further testing (37.15 vs 34.05 years old, p?<?0.05). Control group declined invasive diagnostic testing.

Conclusions

Most patients who conceive using IVF-PGS do not pursue diagnostic prenatal chromosomal testing. Future studies focusing on decision making in this patient group are warranted to further elucidate why a small percentage of patients opt for diagnostic testing, even when adequately counseled about the inherent limitations of PGS.

Purpose

The purpose of this study was to find out the most important prognostic factors for achieving a pregnancy after in vitro fertilization (IVF) in women with history of repeated unsuccessful IVF attempts.

Methods

We analyzed factors affecting pregnancy rate in a retrospective study including 429 IVF/ICSI cycles performed in women younger than 40 years with at least three previous consecutive failed IVF/ICSI attempts.

Results

Clinical pregnancy was observed in 140/429 (32.6%) cycles. Clinical pregnancy rate (CPR) was significantly higher in cycles with LEI compared to cycles without LEI before embryo transfer (44.4 vs 26.54%, p = 0.007). The CPR was also higher in cycles with day 5 blastocyst- compared with day 3 cleavage-stage embryo transfers (45.51 vs 26.54%, p < 0.001). In multivariate logistic regression model, only transfer of at least one good quality embryo (OR = 4.32, 95% CI 2.41–7.73), local endometrial injury (OR = 1.73, 95% CI 1.02–2.92), and transfer on day 5 (OR = 3.02, 95% CI 1.53–5.94) remained important independent prognostic factors for clinical pregnancy.

Conclusions

These results suggest that hysteroscopy with local injury to the endometrium prior to ovarian stimulation for IVF/ICSI can improve implantation and pregnancy rates in women experiencing recurrent IVF failure. However, large studies are needed to confirm these findings.

Objective

The study was carried out to clarify the IVF outcome after laparoscopic neosalpingostomy for infertile patients affected by hydrosalpinx stage III. Materials and Methods: From January 2010 to June 2015, 91 subjects of hydrosalpinx stage III were treated in out center by laparoscopic surgery before IVF cycle. 43 underwent neosalpingostomy (group 1) and the remaining 48 underwent salpingestomy (group 2). We compared these patients and their IVF outcomes after two different surgical techniques.

Results

There were no significant differences between the two groups, except a higher number of patients with bilaterial hydrosalpinges was noted in the neosalpingostomy group (79.1% vs. 56.3%, respectively). 25 patients with neosalpingostomy and 29 with salpingectomy achieved pregnancy by IVF. The ongoing pregnancy rate per cycle in group 1 and group 2 was 51.1 and 47.2%, respectively. Two cases of ampullary ectopic pregnancies were noted in group 1 and one case of right tube interstitial pregnancy in group 2. No significant difference was observed in live birth rate between the groups (48.9% vs. 45.3%, respectively).

Conclusions

The outcomes of IVF after neosalpingostomy were matchable with salpingectomy. For patients desire to preserve fallopian tubes, we recommend laparoscopic neosalpingostomy as an alternative choice to manage moderate hydrosalpinx before IVF.

Purpose

The aims of this study were to assess the outcome of in vitro fertilization (IVF) in women with very low circulating anti-müllerian hormone (AMH) and to investigate factors affecting their probability of pregnancy.

Methods

The outcome of 448 IVF cycles in 361 women with circulating AMH <0.5 ng/ml was retrospectively analyzed.

Results

Cycle cancellation rate was 14.5 %; patients whose cycle was cancelled had significantly lower AMH than women who reached oocyte pickup (OPU). Among those who reached OPU, age significantly affected the success rate: despite comparable AMH levels, patients below 35 years obtained significantly more oocytes and a better clinical pregnancy rate (CPR)/OPU than patients aged 35–39 or 40–43 (31 % vs. 23.2 % vs. 10.2 %, respectively; p?=?0.001). Differently, comparable IVF results were observed stratifying patients for AMH levels in the range 0.14–0.49 ng/ml. Multivariable logistic regression analysis confirmed that the probability of pregnancy was significantly affected by age, but not by small differences in AMH level.

Conclusions

Women with very low (<0.5 ng/ml) AMH levels undergoing IVF still have reasonable chances of achieving a pregnancy, but their prognosis is significantly affected by chronological age. Very low AMH levels are associated with a relevant risk of cycle cancellation but should not be considered a reason to exclude a couple from IVF.

Purpose

Chromosomal polymorphisms are associated with infertility, but their effects on assisted reproductive outcomes are still quite conflicting, especially after IVF treatment. This study evaluated the role of chromosomal polymorphisms of different genders in IVF pregnancy outcomes.

Methods

Four hundred and twenty-five infertile couples undergoing IVF treatment were divided into three groups: 214 couples with normal chromosomes (group A, control group), 86 couples with female polymorphisms (group B), and 125 couples with male polymorphisms (group C). The pregnancy outcomes after the first and cumulative transfer cycles were analyzed, and the main outcome measures were live birth rate (LBR) after the first transfer cycle and cumulative LBR after a complete IVF cycle.

Results

Comparison of pregnancy outcomes after the first transfer cycle within group A, group B, and group C demonstrated a similar LBR as well as other rates of implantation, clinical pregnancy, early miscarriage, and ongoing pregnancy (P > 0.05). However, the analysis of cumulative pregnancy outcomes indicated that compared with group A, group C had a significantly lower LBR per cycle (80.4 vs 68.00%), for a rate ratio of 1.182 (95% CI 1.030 to 1.356, P = 0.01) and a significantly higher cumulative early miscarriage rate (EMR) among clinical pregnancies (7.2 vs 14.7%), for a rate ratio of 0.489 (95% CI 0.248 to 0.963, P = 0.035).

Conclusion

Couples with chromosomal polymorphisms in only male partners have poor pregnancy outcomes after IVF treatment manifesting as high cumulative EMR and low LBR after a complete cycle.

Patients were divided into two groups, A and B. Group A patients consisted of 110 patients (110 cycles) who received daily subcutaneous injections of 0.1 mg of the GnRh agonist triptorelin starting from the mid-luteal phase of the cycle preceding the actual FET cycle. The dose was reduced to 0.05 mg from the second day of the cycle when daily oral estradiol valerate 6 mg was also started. Daily vaginal supplementation of micronized progesterone 400 mg b.d. was started after 12 days when the GnRh agonist was also stopped. Frozen–thawed embryos were transferred on day + 1 of their chronological age and when the endometrium reached 12 mm in thickness. Group B consisted of 100 patients (100 cycles) who started daily estradiol valerate 6 mg administration from the second day of the FET cycle and followed the same regimen but without prior treatment with triptorelin.

Main Outcome Measures

Implantation and pregnancy rates were compared among the two groups.

Results

There was a significant increase in implantation rate in the GnRh agonist group (group A) compared to the estrogen and progesterone only group (group B) (44.1 vs. 21.1 %; P = 0.002*). The pregnancy rate was also significantly higher in group A compared to group B (65.5 vs. 42 %, P = 0.013*).

Conclusions

GnRh agonist administration during endometrial preparation for FET increases the implantation and pregnancy rates.
