—Melanocytes are cells embriologically derived from the neural crest. When they are located in the dermis they have a typical aspect with elongated and branched dendritic cytoplasms. Electron microscopy in the dermal melanocytosis shows a typical extracellular sheath. Dermal melanocytosis are most commonly in Asiatic and Japanese people and they are present at the time of birth. We can find two different types: the classic dermal melanocytosis, like blue nevus, nevus of Ota and Ito, Mongolian spot, blue macules associated with scleroderma, nevus of Hori and naevus fuscocaeruleus zygomaticus, and, on the other hand, exist several morphologic forms with different denominations and histological features of classic melanocytosis but with different clinical presentation so we must classify these entities separately. The treatment is based in sun protection advice and cosmetic camouflage.  相似文献
