| Abstract: | Objective To explore the clinicalmanifestations, pathological characteristics, treatment, and prognosis of apatient with giant breast adenosquamous carcinoma, and to deepen theunderstanding. Methods The clinical data of a patient with giant breast adenosquamous carcinomaadmitted into Shanxian Central Hospital in June 2021 were retrospectivelyanalyzed, and the related literatures were reviewed to summarize thepathological characteristics, differential diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. Results Thepatient underwent left enlarged breast resection, axillary lymph nodedissection, and chest wound flap metastasis, and was diagnosed with high-gradeadenosquamous carcinoma after the surgery, and no metastases in axillary lymphnodes was found. Conclusions The clinical characteristics and differential diagnosis of breastadenosquamous carcinoma are not different from other breast carcinoma. Surgeryis the main treatment, and whether adjuvant chemotherapy is needed aftersurgery is not confirmed. |
