| Abstract: | Objective:To analyze the expression characteristics and clinical significance of E2F7 in clear cell renal cell carcinoma based on TCGA database.Methods:The differential expression of E2F7 and the association between E2F7 and clinical prognosis in clear cell renal cell carcinoma were analyzed based on the GEPIA and LinkedOmics databases.The genes related to the expression of E2F7 were analyzed with WebGestalt tool.Results:The analysis based on the GEPIA showed that the expression level of E2F7 mRNA in ccRCC tissues was higher than that in normal renal tissues.The Linkedomics database analysis showed that E2F7 mRNA was differentially expressed in the pathological stage of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (P＜0.05),and the expression level tended to be up-regulated with the increase of the pathological stage.E2F7 mRNA was differentially expressed in different T,M and N stages(P ＜0.05).Survival analysis showed that E2F7 expression level was significantly associated with overall survival(Logrank P=0.023) and disease free survival(Logrank P=0.041) in ccRCC patients.In addition,the expression level of E2F7 was positively correlated with that of BUB1B,CDC6,CCNE2 and CCNE1(r values were 0.827 7,0.720 4,0.677 8 and 0.612 5,respectively,all P＜0.01),and negatively correlated with those of PINK1,KAT5 and HSD17B8(r values were -0.511 0,-0.508 4 and -0.502 9,respectively,all P＜0.01).The enrichment analysis of genes associated with E2F7 expression was associated with DNA replication,cell cycle,and the NF-kappa B signaling pathway.Conclusion:The expression level of E2F7 mRNA was significantly correlated with the pathological stage,T stage,N stage,M stage and prognosis in patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma.Therefore,E2F7 has the potential to become a prognostic marker and therapeutic target of clear cell renal cell carcinoma. |
