| Abstract: | Thirty cytomegalovirus cell culture-positive samples were tested by the SHARP Signal System. Twenty-seven specimens (100% agreement) were identified by both methods. The SHARP Signal System is rapid (4 h), easy to perform, and potentially adaptable to automation. |
