Objective: To establish a method for simultaneous determination of puerarin, liquiritin, baicalin and berberine hydrochloride in Gegenqinlian Micropills. Method: RP-HPLC was applied on a Kromasil-C₁₈ column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) with methanol-phosphate buffer as mobile phase by gradient elution. The flow rate was 1.0 mL· min^-1, and the detection wavelength was set at 275 nm. Result: The methodology of 4 components met the requirements with no interference of negatives. Conclusion: The method established is easy, accurate with high specificity, which can provide the base for the quality control of Gegenqinlian Micropills.
